Patients with chronic diseases are greatly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, gasoline shortages, the high cost of living and the “radical quarantine” imposed by the Maduro regime. This is the case of Daniela and her son Raúl, originally from Sucre, they have traveled to the capital for three years so that the child receives treatment at the JM de los Ríos Hospital, but since August 2020 they have not been able to return to their state of origin.
