Vaccination of the staff of the JM de los Ríos Hospital begins

Through its Twitter account, the Venezuelan NGO expressed its desire “that vaccines continue to arrive so that everyone can be vaccinated, including women caregivers who are at the foot of the children’s bed.”

Caracas.- This Sunday, February 21, the vaccination day began for the staff of the JM de los Ríos Hospital, located in Caracas, according to the Prepara Familia organization. Through its Twitter account, the Venezuelan NGO expressed its desire “that the vaccines continue to arrive so that everyone can be vaccinated, including the female caregivers who are at the foot of the children’s bed.”

On Thursday, February 18, the first phase of vaccination in Venezuela against COVID-19 began. Initially, it is estimated that this will last at least two weeks and that the priority will be for all workers in the health sector.

According to the statements issued by Nicolás Maduro, after the doctors, the officials of the State security forces, the deputies and the members of the Somos Venezuela movement will be immunized.

Maduro also reiterated that he estimates that vaccination of the entire Venezuelan population will begin in April.
